The youth health promotion team offer workshops to young people 14-23 years in non mainstream settings e.g. youthreach, youth clubs, youth organisations.
These workshops can be delivered In person OR Virtual (Via Zoom).
Our group workshops are usually delivered over 3 sessions. These workshops cover a range of sexual health topics to make sure young people are informed and supported around all aspects of their sexual health. The content and length of time for each workshop can be tailored to the individual needs of every group in consultation with their regular group facilitator/s.
The core modules (delivered to every group) are:

Consent- (Including sexting, intimate image sharing and the law)
Sexuality and Gender
Bodies
Sexual Activities
Contraception
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
We also offer additional elective modules (that can be selected as per the most relevant issues for each group)
Pornography
Alcohol and Drugs
LGBTI+ Specific- coming out, support services, minority stress, building resilience
Online safety
Body Image- Photoshopping, realistic expectations and unrealistic standards
