Elshaddai Mahuda
Senior health promotion officer
Elshaddai started as a Senior Health Promotion Officer at the Sexual Health Centre in March 2024. He holds a Master of Public Health from UCC, an MSc in Global Health from Thammasat University, and a BSc Honors in Health Education and Health Promotion from the University of Zimbabwe.
Before joining the Sexual Health Centre, Elshaddai worked with various NGOs funded by PEPFAR, the Global Fund, USAID, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Africa, focusing on Humanitarian Aid, HIV prevention, treatment, and care. His roles primarily involved program coordination and monitoring and evaluation.
As a Senior Health Promotion Officer, Elshaddai is trained to screen for HIV through rapid HIV testing, provide vaccination, PrEP and PEP, and STI counselling, signposting clients to relevant services.
