Pregnancy Support Services
At the Sexual Health Centre, we provide professional and individual support to people who suspect they may be pregnant or are experiencing a crisis pregnancy.
We offer:
Free pregnancy testing
Free 1:1 counselling with a trained counsellor to give you information and support on ALL of your options
Free counselling before and after termination (abortion)

Period late? Think you may be pregnant? We can help.
Our centre, at 16 Peters Street, Cork offers a free and confidential pregnancy testing service with fully-trained friendly staff. We understand this may be a worrying time for you and we will do everything we can to put you at ease.
No appointment is necessary - you can drop in anytime Sexual Health Centre, 16 Peters Street, Cork T12 DX73:
Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm
Friday 9am to 2pm
We offer a non-judgmental service, so you can feel free to ask us any questions you may have. Whatever the outcome of the test, we can offer you support. If you are pregnant and not sure where to turn, we can make an appointment for you with our crisis pregnancy counsellor for free and confidential support.

Crisis Pregnancy
Our crisis pregnancy counsellors do not judge or tell you what to do. We provide a professional, supportive confidential service to people and their partners experiencing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy. We respectfully assist them to explore all your options:
Choosing to continue with the pregnancy
Choosing an adoption
Choosing a termination (abortion)
Who do we provide the service for?
Anyone with an unplanned or crisis pregnancy, their partner and family.
Why provide such a service?
When you have an unplanned pregnancy, you may feel distressed and isolated. Knowing that support is available from a caring and professional counsellor can be very helpful to you, your partner or other people close to you.
Post-termination counselling
We provide post-termination (abortion) counselling for you and your partner if you have gone through pregnancy termination (abortion) who have experienced pregnancy termination, recently or in the past. Our counselling services are free, professional and personal.
